It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all in the School of Tourism, Travel and Hospitality
Management the Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
Dynamic tourism is not only a business but it connects culture, cuisine, understanding and
sustainability. At our school, we are committed to shape young tourism professionals to be fit for
global and national tourism industry as well as for academia. As a team we all are striving hard
to make them skilled professional along with the sense of responsibility. One of the USP of our
school is innovative teaching methods like; industry expert interactions, internships, MOU with
leading organizations, short term project, earn while learn approach, field visits, event
managements program, community engagement, entrepreneurship skills etc. and the basic idea to
make our students fit for global competition.
In the School of Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Management currently we are running
Department to Tourism and Travel Management, Department of Hotel and hospitality
Management and Centre for promotion of Ecological, Adventure, Health and Cultural Tourism.
We place special accent on sustainable and responsible tourism practices. All stakeholders of the
school are advised to promote and preserve cultural legacy and ethical tourism activities.
We are having faculty members in our school who are multitalented and multidisciplinary in
their approach like: Industry, academia.
