Welcome to the School of Physical and Material Sciences, Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
The School of Physical and Material Sciences is a vibrant academic and research community comprising three departments: the Department of Physics and Astronomical Science, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Sciences, and Department of Nanoscience and Materials. Together, these departments represent diverse yet closely interconnected areas of science, providing a strong foundation for advancing knowledge through teaching, research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
In today's rapidly evolving scientific and technological landscape, our responsibility is not limited to imparting knowledge but to create an academic environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, scientific temper, innovation, honesty, integrity, and a spirit of exploration.
