HPKV Business School is one of the biggest departments of the university and offers career-oriented education. We prepare students for socially desirable and personally fruitful careers in the field of business and finance. This is done through innovativeness in framing the course curriculum, rigorous academic program, and imparting practical skills required for handling complex business issues in today’s competitive economic environment. The department offers two years of Master of Business Administration (MBA) with dual specialisation in Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource Management and value-added certificate courses in addition to Ph.D. (Management) program. The department follows the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) and has redesigned its course structure as per the National Education Policy (2020). Based on the stakeholder’s feedback, we are constantly updating our course content and expanding our offerings to cater to the demands of various sectors. Our extensive suite of programs at HPKV Business School now includes subjects in the areas of social and digital media marketing, business analytics, FinTech, and Entrepreneurship.

To equip the students to assume the diverse roles of business manager the pedagogy adopted by the department comprises case studies, experiential learning, on-the-job training presentation, projects based on local or regional or national, or global issues, storytelling, management games, role plays, quizzes, industrial visit, group activities, management fests, business plans, exercises in addition to lectures methods. The department also arranges interaction with corporate leaders, management consultants, local entrepreneurs leaders from NGOs, and reputed academicians for the benefit of students to impart practical orientation. Students are evaluated through continuous internal components of class tests, presentations, and assignments; and the mid-term and end-term examinations.
To impart necessary training to our students to face the challenges of global industry and to provide adequate job opportunities, the department has its own training and placement cell and help students in preparing for their future careers, offer career guidance on resume building, interview skills, corporate culture, and career opportunities. The cell facilitates the process of placement of students besides collaborating with leading organizations in setting up internship programs for the students.
HPKV Business School works closely with industry and professional bodies to ensure the quality and relevance of material, and employability of graduates, to drive meaningful and impactful careers. At HPKVBS we understand the importance of balancing study with social and physical health, accordingly, we have nine clubs to choose from ranging from sports, enterprise, environment, academia, and charity. Our Research Degree program focuses on providing a high-quality research environment to scholars for pursuing their careers in teaching, research, training, and consultancies in business management.
