The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences is based on inter- disciplinary approach for producing trained manpower to cater the need of society in teaching, research, NGOs and Ecosystem Management, Industries, Glaciers Conservation, Rivers Conservation, Water Harvesting, Underground Water conservation, Disaster management and Earth Processes. The academic Programmes are meant to fulfill these requirements.
The School is dedicated to producing trained Environmental Scientists, Geologists, Geographers, Glaciologists, Atmospheric and Planetary Scientists, Climatologists, Hydrologists, Hydro energy Scientists and Experts in Renewable Energy.
The objective of School is to develop Scientists with multi-disciplinary training to fulfill the need of the present day society pertaining to Renewable Energy Resources, Natural Resources, Disaster Management, Potable Water and Serene Environment.
